Perform general accounting functions, including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations; Analyze recording of revenue and expenditures for correct account classification in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); Review financial transactions entered in the general and subsidiary ledgers ensuring that all costs are completely and accurately recorded in the company’s accounting system; Responsible for budget control; Monitor and facilitate various payments to suppliers, vendors, and process payments; Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date; Review, analyze, and investigate causes of variances and prepare report for management information; Perform monthly bank reconciliation; Prepare periodic tax filings (monthly gross receipt tax, corporate income tax returns, FICA, Employer’ Quarterly Withholding Tax Returns); Compute and prepare bi-weekly or semi-monthly payrolls for employees; Interact management decisions, particularly involving financial decisions to improve business operations; Implement strict adherence to established internal control systems and procedures; Prepare yearly financial statements (balance sheets and income statements) in accordance with GAAP; and Perform other related duties.
